The band was created in September 2024 in the city of Zhitomir(Ukraine) by members of various other famous Ukrainian projects(ex-Drudkh, ex-Lucifugum, ex-Blood of Kingu, Lutomysl, Bestial Invasion, Cosmic Jaguar and Violent Omen). The band's style is characterised as Death Metal with elements of Doom and Dungeon Synth.

The main concept and theme of the band is alchemy, and its' different forms. In a short time, the band recorded a 4 song mini album Three Primes of Alchemy, and shot a music video for the song ‘Solar Sulfur’ with guest vocalist Anira.

The band is currently working on a new full-length album, which they plan to release in the second half of 2025.

2. Bristol (UK)-Based Doom-Metal Outfit WARRIOR POPE Will Release 4th LPA Morbid Parody of Justice Late May, 2025

It's a history of the Cadaver Synod, told in metal.

Written and honed whilst gigging in 2023, A Morbid Parody of Justice was recorded over 3 days in the live room of our practice space in 2024, then mixed very slowly over the rest of the year.

This album is the result of post-pandemic lockdown reconstruction, new members, Wikipedia rabbithole themes - and a buncha miserable riffs from sitting on the sofa, with an acoustic bass and fuck all to do.

Professor Mike Bishop of Kepone and GWAR kindly contributed some spoken word, which is incredibly exciting. This album features Jack Andrews on guitar, also of Death by Gimp and David Burke. David is doing a PHD in heavy metal studies, is also in Absent Signifier, and a frequent collaborator with improv band Permit Me These Small Miseries. Katya has been playing cymbals with a double-bass bow during this gig/album cycle, and people have been very excited about it!
