[ARCHIVE - Undoing Ruin] Moshing Happily Under Radioactive Ash: An ADHD-Focused Look At 2024 From Me.
One of my more acerbic and honest/critical self-reflective pieces (as well as just plain lengthy), this is an honest neurodivergent-peer review of 2024, originally posted to our prior now-dead website (RIP) late last year. I pull no punches here (and content warning - discussions of mental health, anxiety, depression etc) about the impact living with ADHD had on me last year, my whole life, and some frustrations with stereotypes. It’s not all bad, though - I discuss many positives about being ND, too!

[Riffs] Some Thoughts On: Info-Overload, Option-Paralysis, and Digital Chaos.
Originally posted to our prior now-defunct website (RIP), this Riff (article) is an exploration of technology, information overload/overwhelm, digital minimalism and how this relates to both me personally, but also in the context of directing and managing the Inner-Strength Check Podcast/blog etc. Read on!

[Archive] 2023 Madcap-Recap//2024-To-The-Floor (Intro)
Quoting my original except from the Jan 5th, 2024 article (posted on our prior, now-defunct website, RIP) “ A prelude to my comprehensive review of society, culture and lifestyle in 2023, as well as predictions, hopes and concerns for 2024. In this article, I discuss themes ahead for the first longer-form series of the ISC podcast, exploring society, discourse and the relationship between these and the arts, hobbies, music and mental health.

[Archive] Episodes 16 + 17: ADHD Awareness Month 2023 - A National Impetus For Change.
See here for Spotify and Youtube links to episodes 16 and 17 of our podcast, the blog posts for which were lost along with our prior website (RIP). Titled ‘ADHD Awareness Month: A No Holds-Barred Peer Perspective (Part 1) & A National Impetus For Change’ respectively - both episodes do what they say on the tin. Listen in for some archival thoughts on ADHD, neurodivergent discourse, social norms and much more. I didn’t hold back, and I still don’t.

A Philo-Slothical Piece - Thank You From Me, Your Host.
(Content Warning - Explicit Language!). A heartfelt and sincere thanks-in-advance to YOU, the Inner-Strength Check community. In this article, I reiterate the ultimate purpose of this whole project, and the reasons I’ve kept going through 4 years and a new website from the ground up. Thank you. Sincerely.

ISC Podcast Ep. 08 - (Prelude to ‘The Stoked Series’). [11.03.2023]
Yet another of our archival posts, this one was a primer/precursor to ‘The Stoked Series’. In this article, I discussed some pretty open and honest challenges around living with ADHD (Inattentive-Type) and some common mental health comorbidities. It’s ultimately positive though, and focuses on the return of hedonia and stokedness.

ISC Podcast Ep. 6 - The March Not-An-Update Anti-Update (Update). [05/03/2023].
Originally posted on our sadly now-in-ruins previous website (RIP) back in 2023. In honesty, it’s an interesting piece with some varied thoughts around content-creation and creativity, but it’s overall a pretty impassioned diatribe. If that sounds up your alley, dig in. If not, we’ve got a heap more episodes being copied and reposted from the carcass of ISC.com (RIP)!

ISC Podcast Ep. 05 - ISC Trajectory for 2023. (27.12.2022)
Originally posted on our old website, which unfortunately has met an untimely end (thanks, WordPress!). To quote directly - ‘A culture fed unrelenting standards imposed by some strange continued need to propagate the pre-pandemic model of life under neoliberal austerity. Plot twist - that isn't working, and I'm fed up.’ Link to rant contained inside!

ISC Podcast Ep. 04 - The Great (Sigh of) Resignation.
This is an archival repost of Episode 4: ‘The Great Sigh of Resignation’ of the Inner-Strength Check Podcast. Available on Spotify, Youtube and all other streaming platforms. Rest in Peace innerstrengthcheck.com, you will be missed.
